The Royal Academy of Management Concludes the Fourth Cohort of the “National Program for Developing Leaders and Future Foresight”

– Five learning modules and advisory sessions led by local experts enhanced participants’ leadership capabilities.

The Royal Academy of Management (RAM) has successfully concluded the fourth cohort of the “National Program for Developing Leaders and Future Foresight,” (LPP) aimed at strengthening the leadership capabilities of senior administrative officials within the state’s administrative framework. Aligned with the strategic objectives of Oman Vision 2040, this initiative equips leaders with the skills, knowledge, and foresight required to navigate an ever-changing and competitive global environment with confidence and efficiency.
A total of 30 participants from various government entities, including Assistant Directors General, Department Directors, and Assistant Department Directors, took part in the programme. Over a six-month immersive learning journey, they engaged in five specialised learning modules designed to enhance their leadership capabilities and refine their ability to tackle complex professional challenges. The programme played a pivotal role in advancing middle-management processes while fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, ultimately boosting Oman’s global economic competitiveness.

A Holistic Leadership Vision
Abdulkarim bin Amer Al-Khatri, Programme Director, underscored the significance of the initiative, stating:
“LPP Programme stands as a cornerstone of the Academy’s strategy to realise the wise vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik by cultivating national leaders equipped to manage transformative changes with efficiency and foresight.”
He further highlighted:
“The programme has been thoughtfully designed as a platform for developing strategic thinking, fostering innovation, and enhancing effective decision-making processes. This reflects the Academy’s unwavering commitment to nurturing human capital, which serves as the primary driver of sustainable development.”

Al-Khatri elaborated that the programme focused on building middle-management leadership skills through advanced training methodologies, such as leadership accelerators, individual and group coaching, and research-driven projects.
Additionally, advisory sessions led by local experts helped participants improve their self-awareness and leadership potential, enabling them to adapt to an ever-evolving professional environment.
He emphasised that the programme was built upon practical and knowledge-based tools designed to drive positive workplace transformation by blending theoretical insights with hands-on application. This comprehensive approach ensured participants acquired leadership competencies tailored to their professional roles and long-term career growth.
