Programme Application Requirements
Applicants must be Omani nationals and work in the private sector or be an entrepreneur.
Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognised university, and entrepreneurs must have a minimum of a higher diploma.

Nominations are open to previous applicants who did not join the first or second cohort.
Applicants must ensure that their supervisors sign a commitment letter for entry.

The dates will be determined and announced prior to the start of the programme. Participants will be in different cohorts, each with its own schedule.
How much time does the applicant need to commit to the programme?
Participants are required to commit 18 working days to the programme and the employer needs to release them from work for this period. The remainder of the training will be delivered through distance learning and does not require absence from work.
How will the Etimad programme be delivered?
The training programme includes face-to-face practical learning units, remote learning and real-world projects in the specific fields and sectors related to the employees.
Are there any costs involved for private sector companies?
The Academy will cover the costs of the Etimad programme. Companies or individuals (small and medium enterprises) are required to cover any personal costs such as transportation and accommodation.
What documents and information should be attached during the registration process?
Employees joining the programme need a commitment letter from the employer stating their willingness to allow them to join the programme. They also need to state a commitment to release them from work for a total of 18 days. The employee should then print, stamp, and attach the letter.
Do the candidates need to complete any tests before being accepted onto the programme?
To ensure the suitability and readiness for the programme, candidates are assessed in a variety of areas such as English language proficiency, general ability, and personal and administrative skills.
