It ultimately aspires to strengthen a shared sense of purpose among all members of the national administrative system, uniting them under the vision of a single, cohesive government team.<\/p><p>\u200b\u200bIn the first year of the initiative, 5,000 employees from 19 government entities within the state\u2019s administrative apparatus will take part. The implementation will initially cover the governorates of Muscat, Dhofar, Musandam, and North Al Batinah.<\/p><p>Over the next five years, the initiative will gradually expand to encompass all employees across the state\u2019s administrative system, at every level of government.<\/p><p>His Excellency Dr Ali Qassim Al Lawati, President of the Royal Academy of Management, said that the launch of the interactive workshops marks a significant milestone in the journey of the One Team Initiative for Government. The initiative, he noted, was introduced in response to the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, underscoring the importance of operating as a unified system and strengthening the positive, effective contribution of individuals within the government workplace.<\/p><p>He highlighted the strategic importance of this stage, which reflects the collaborative spirit of the One Government Team and the ongoing participation of the targeted institutions at every phase of the initiative \u2014 from planning and design through to implementation and beyond. His Excellency affirmed that the success of this national effort depends on the collective commitment of all those working for Oman\u2019s future.<\/p><p>Dr Al Lawati added: \u201cThe One Government Team approach is not new to the Sultanate of Oman. For decades, it has been a cornerstone in achieving national goals and aspirations, serving people across this land. Yet, today\u2019s stage calls for reinforcing this approach to embed a culture of collaboration that supports the government\u2019s vision for an administrative system distinguished by flexibility, innovation and future-readiness \u2014 in harmony with national priorities and global developments.\u201d<\/p><p>The initiative was developed following extensive focus group sessions that brought together participants from various professional levels. He noted that this event is the first of 100 workshops planned for the initiative\u2019s inaugural year.<\/p><p>Al Riyami explained that the workshops are designed as intellectual forums aimed primarily at aligning personal goals with institutional objectives, while deepening participants\u2019 understanding of the real impact of their roles within their organisations and across the wider government and society. The sessions also highlight the employee\u2019s contribution as an integral member of the One Government Team, extending beyond formal job titles. Each workshop is preceded by preparatory activities and followed by stages of follow-up and engagement, organised in partnership with the participating entities.<\/p><p>He added that the one-day interactive workshop forms part of a broader framework that includes complementary components such as the Train the Facilitators Programme, the National Communication Campaign under the \u201cMedia and Communication\u201d track, and continuous Impact Measurement to evaluate progress and identify opportunities for improvement.<\/p><p>The initiative also incorporates a network of communities that bring together participants, heads of government units, facilitators, and supporting media communities. In addition, 57 ambassadors from the participating institutions have been designated to help embed the initiative\u2019s principles into daily workflows and ensure that participants continue their journey with the initiative well beyond the one-day workshop experience.<\/p><p>It is noteworthy that the first year of the initiative will engage employees from a wide range of administrative levels, nominated by 19 government entities.
