Additionally, it aims to enhance environmental awareness and cultivate a robust scientific community capable of contributing to evidence-based decision-making. It employs a holistic methodology that blends theoretical and practical training, guided by local and international experts, ensuring the delivery of globally benchmarked training content.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Structured into multiple phases, the programme commenced in December 2024 with the formation of research groups aligned with national priorities. This will be followed by the development of research plans and applied projects in January 2025. The implementation of field research projects will span until September 2026, culminating in March 2027 with a comprehensive evaluation of outcomes and the publication of a final report.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">The programme holds great significance as it positions Oman as a regional and global leader in environmental research. It will also enhance the effectiveness of government institutions by equipping them to adopt and implement international best practices in environmental sustainability.
