elementor - v3.18.0 - 20-12-2023 *\/\r\n.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-stacked .elementor-drop-cap{background-color:#69727d;color:#fff}.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-framed .elementor-drop-cap{color:#69727d;border:3px solid;background-color:transparent}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap{margin-top:8px}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap-letter{width:1em;height:1em}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap{float:right;text-align:center;line-height:1;font-size:50px}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap-letter{display:inline-block}<\/style>\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree No.2\/2022, on the establishment of the Royal Academy of Management, determining its competences and approvingits organizational structure.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (1) stipulates that an academy to be named \u201cRoyal Academy of Management\u201d shall be established and that it shall have a legal identity and enjoy financial and administrative autonomy.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (2) states that the Royal Academy of Management shall come under the honorary patronage of His Majesty the Sultan.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (3) states that the Royal Academy of Management shall have its headquarters in the Governorate of Muscat and that, with a decision from the board of trustees, the academy may have branches in other governorates.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (4) determines the competences of the Royal Academy of Management as per annex No.1 attached to this decree.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (5) approves the organizational structure of the Royal Academy of Management as per annex No.2 attached to this decree.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (6) states that, as an exemption from the system (law) of the State Administrative Apparatus promulgated by Royal Decree No. 75\/2020, the Royal Academy of Management shall have a board of trustees under the chairmanship of the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court. The Council of Ministers shall issue a decision appointing members of board of trustees and determining the duration of their membership.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">The board of trustees shall have the same powers assigned to boards of directors of public entities cited in the State\u2019s Administrative Apparatus System.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (7) states that the Royal Academy of Management shall have a chairman with the Special Grade and that the chairman shall be appointed under a Royal decree.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">The Chairman shall have the powers assigned to a Head of Unit cited in all laws and Royal decrees. The Chairman attends all meetings of boards of trustees without having a counted vote as stated in the aforementioned State\u2019s Administrative Apparatus System.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (8) states that all allocations, rights, obligations and assets of the Institute of Public Administration and the Institute of Capability Development at the Diwan of Royal Court shall be transferred to the Royal Academy of Management.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (9) states that all employees of the Institute of Public Administration and the Institute of Capability Development at the Diwan of Royal Court shall be transferred to the Royal Academy of Management, along with their financial grades.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tajawal;\">Article (10) says that Chairman of the board of trustees of the Royal Academy of Management shall issue regulations\/bylaws and decisions necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this decree.
